Next to him, that’s Steve. Steve proposed within ten minutes. “When you know, you know,” he said. I knew I had to run.
Then there’s Chad, the one with the piercing stare. He skipped the whole “nice to meet you” part and went straight for “your place or mine?” Chad, buddy, at least buy me a coffee first.
And finally, let’s not forget Bob. Bob’s pictures showed a rugged 40-year-old adventurer. In real life? He was 60, balding, and wheezing after three steps. “I used old photos,” he admitted. OLD? Sir, those belong in a museum.
So yeah, dating is just modern art: abstract, confusing, and usually disappointing. But hey, at least it makes for a good story—and an even better painting.
